FOX RURAL was set up by Robert Fox in 2013.
Robert is a chartered surveyor, with more than 30 years' rural practice experience
primarily in the South West and West Midlands.
With a BSc (Hons) in Land Management from Reading University, he is a Member of
the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Association of
Agricultural Valuers.
Since graduating in 1985, his experience has ranged from busy livestock markets, utility and highways compensation
and valuations, through to estate management. Robert has worked for local and national businesses including Senior
and Godwin, Bruton Knowles, Carter Jonas and Wessex Water.
Prior to setting up this practice, Robert also worked for 18 years as a Land Agent for Gloucestershire County Council, covering management of a diverse 8500 acre rural estate as well as countryside sites, rights of way and highways matters. Throughout this period, he acted as a rural planning consultant to the county’s local planning authorities – a service Robert now continues.
Originally from Somerset, he is now based in Gloucestershire on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
His interests include fishing, shooting, rugby and natural history.
